Birth in all it's Glory

The past 28 hours has provided me one of the most amazing experiences of my photography career. I witnessed a beautiful baby girl make her entrance into this world. I experienced labor in all it's glory from the shooting end of the camera. The anticipation of birth, the waiting, the pain, the love, the epidural, the pushing, the tears. The strength of women and the partners that support them is astonishing.

We take so many things for granted and forget so many little moments but the first sound of our babies cry or that first touch skin to skin is one that is etched into our soul, and every fiber of our being. Our bodies are amazing in what we can do and create.
